Island Adventures
Below are some of our favorite adventures throughout the island. Most of these experiences can be booked directly with each location, with your private drivers, or through a tour group company if you are not comfortable going on your own. There are many reputable tour companies throughout the island many of which can be booked via Trip Advisor, their personal websites, or through your accommodations. AirBnb hosts typically have great connections with companies or people they work with and the resorts will have a concierge to assist with your booking needs. Some options can be booked on the same day for full-day excursions, or depending on your length of stay, you can curate an itinerary over multiple days. No matter what you do, you won’t be disappointed with beauty of St. Lucia!
Swim With Horses At Holiday Riding Stables

Friday Night Jump-Up (Street Party)
Located in Gros Inlet (about a 10 minute drive) this street party is a 50-year tradition of music, dancing, and street food that is free to attend. The party starts around sunset and goes through the night (or until you can’t anymore!) If you love Caribbean dance music (Soca), good vibes and a party scene you’ll absolutely love this experience! Those that don’t want to party too hard can check out the local seafood grill to try fresh caught fish, conch, and other delectables.
Explore Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens & Mineral Baths
Located in Soufriere (about 1hr 45minute drive) from Rodney Bay. This Botanical Garden is the oldest on St. Lucia and features beautiful native plants, flowers, and birds. This private 6 acre park is gorgeous and allows you to immerse yourself in beauty of St. Lucia. Allow at least 1 hour to wander around the gardens or extend your stay by booking a visit to the mineral baths located right within the park. There are public or private bath options that can be added on for an additional fee. This would make a great stop on your way to or from Rodney Bay! Learn more: https://www.diamondstlucia.com/
Taste St. Lucia Chocolate
Did you know….some of the world’s finest chocolate comes from the Cacao Beans grown in St. Lucia?! Cacoa is a chocolate processing company that produces gourmet chocolates, truffles, fudge, and other fine sweets and food items. Take a tour or a class, grab some lunch at their on-site restaurant, or simply stop in to the shop to sample some of there amazing treats. This shop is located in Belvedere (about 1 hour and 15minutes from Rodney Bay) but would make a fantastic stop on your way to or from the airport! Learn more: https://cacoasaintelucie.com/

This annual festival is held in a variety of locations on the island. This cultural and musical festival features a diverse lineup of international and local artists playing jazz, soul, reggae, and Caribbean rhythms. The closest venue to Rodney Bay is Pigeon Island National Park (located in Gros Inlet - about a 10 minute drive; without traffic). Drive-In Volcano & Mud Baths
Located in Soufriere (about 1hr 45minute drive) from Rodney Bay. The Sulphur Springs in St. Lucia is often called the Caribbean’s only drive-in volcano. Sulphur Springs sits inside a collapsed volcanic crater formed thousands of years ago. It is possible to do a self-guided tour of this area; simply have your driver take you to Sulphur Springs and pay the admission fee ($10USD) to the park. There are “guided tours” available that provide history, facts and up-close a viewing of the bubbling mud. Stop at the mud baths on your way out to enjoy the healing properties of the sulphuric mud. If you’d like to book a tour of this area (that includes transportation and lunch) check out: https://www.sulphurspringstlucia.com/
Baywalk Shopping Mall
Baywalk Shopping Mall is a two-story indoor shopping mall with over 40 shops including multiple restaurants, a grocery store, bank, and St. Lucia’s only casino! This is a great place to find souvenirs, grab a bite to eat, or just do some shopping. Directly across the street from the mall is an additional plaza with more shops, another bank and additional restaurants including our favorite taco place! You can find the mall directory here: https://www.baywalkslu.com/
Reduit Beach
What better way to enjoy the Caribbean than with a cold beer on a beautiful beach? Reduit Beach is one of St. Lucia’s most beautiful beaches with roughly 1 mile of golden sand stretching along the Caribbean Sea. This is a perfect spot to take a walk, relax with a book or grab a bite at one of the beach-side restaurants or head down to Marie’s Fish Shack for some local food and a cold Piton Beer. This beach is open to the public with no admittance fee. If you’d like to make it an all day affair book a beach chair here: https://www.paradisebeachcomforts.com/
Visit Eudovic’s Art Studio
Vincent Joseph Eudovic is one of the Caribbean’s most revered sculptors and is the oldest sculptor on the island. His magnificent abstract art is internationally renowned and carved from salvaged Laurier Cannelle wood (which is now extinct on the island). Other works are carved from Mahogany, Teak, Laurier Mabouey, Blue Mahoe, as well as red and white Cedar. This is a great place to find a turly oneof a kind art piece to take home. Located just outside of the capital city of Castries, a visit to the Eudovic studio would make a great stop on a day trip to or from Soufriere or as an easy solo adventure from Rodney Bay. More information about the studio can be found here: https://eudovicsart.com/
